Trust in SODA is partnering with a wellness organisation undergoing a major transformation—evolving from a traditional health club model into a connected, AI-driven wellness and longevity platform.

Today, the digital experience is fragmented across the organisation. The strategic objective is to unify these experiences into a seamless, cohesive product ecosystem, creating a genuine greenfield opportunity for the right designer.

You'll be joining a small, agile team operating within a larger corporate environment—effectively a startup within the business. With a new 25-year vision shaping the future of the organisation, a full website and mobile app redesign is planned, but the real opportunity lies in defining how intelligent, personalised experiences are delivered to users.

The Opportunity

This role sits within a critical workstream focused on AI and personalisation, helping to build a next-generation Wellness Coach.

This goes far beyond a traditional chatbot. The ambition is to create an intelligent, personalised assistant that supports users across their health, lifestyle, and long-term wellbeing journeys.

This is not a traditional Product Designer position. We're looking for someone who thinks beyond screens—someone who can design how a product behaves, responds, and guides users through conversation, not just clicks.

You'll play a key role in shaping how AI appears within the product, ensuring experiences feel useful, trustworthy, and genuinely intuitive rather than gimmicky.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Own the design process end-to-end, from discovery and problem framing through to final UI design and delivery.
  • Help shape a greenfield, unified product experience across native iOS and Android platforms.
  • Define user journeys across both traditional interfaces and conversational touchpoints, including chat experiences, AI assistants, and guided flows.
  • Design how the product interacts, responds, and guides users—not just how it looks.
  • Create conversation flows, dialogue structures, and interaction logic that feel intuitive and human.
  • Translate complex or ambiguous problems into simple, structured, and engaging experiences.
  • Design clear, high-quality user interfaces with strong attention to hierarchy, layout, and visual clarity.
  • Work closely with Product and Engineering teams to shape solutions that are both valuable and technically feasible.
  • Prototype, test, and iterate based on user behaviour and feedback.
  • Contribute to design systems covering both UI components and conversational design patterns.
  • Ensure delivered experiences maintain quality, usability, and design intent.

What they are Looking For

Essential Experience

  • Proven experience delivering end-to-end UX/UI design for live digital products.
  • Experience designing conversational or AI-driven experiences (chatbots, assistants, agentic workflows, etc.).
  • Strong capability across both UX strategy and UI execution.
  • Ability to design conversation logic, intents, and interaction flows—not just static screens.
  • A portfolio demonstrating both product thinking and conversational design expertise.
  • Strong interaction design skills across complex, multi-step, and dynamic experiences.
  • Understanding of AI and LLM-powered experiences and how they influence product behaviour.
  • Confidence working cross-functionally and influencing product direction.
  • High proficiency in Figma and modern design tools.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with conversational design platforms and tooling.
  • Experience working on health, wellness, consumer, or personalisation-focused products.
