Senior Product Manager

Senior Product Manager

Location: London (Hybrid – minimum two days per fortnight onsite)

Salary: Competitive

Type: Permanent, Full-Time

About the Opportunity

This is a rare opportunity to join a market-leading organisation with a globally recognised product suite and a strong reputation for innovation within talent assessment and people decision-making.

The business has invested heavily in modernising its technology platform and is now entering an exciting phase focused on product simplification, customer experience, AI-enabled capabilities, and commercial growth.

The underlying science and intellectual property are already world-class. The challenge now is making that value easier to access, easier to adopt, and easier to scale.

We're looking for a commercially-minded Senior Product Manager who can bridge strategy, customer needs, technology, and business outcomes. Someone who can create clarity from complexity, drive focus across multiple stakeholders, and ensure product investment delivers measurable value.

This is a highly visible role reporting into senior technology leadership, with significant influence over product direction, roadmap prioritisation, and delivery.

What You'll Be Responsible For

Product Strategy & Roadmap Ownership

  • Define and own product roadmaps aligned to business objectives and customer outcomes.
  • Translate strategic priorities into clear initiatives, measurable goals, and actionable delivery plans.
  • Balance customer needs, technical constraints, commercial opportunities, and long-term product vision.
  • Drive prioritisation decisions based on value, impact, and evidence.

Product Discovery & Customer Insight

  • Lead workshops with internal and external stakeholders to uncover opportunities, validate assumptions, and align priorities.
  • Develop a deep understanding of customer journeys and identify opportunities to improve adoption, engagement, and retention.
  • Work closely with customers, commercial teams, and subject matter experts to ensure product decisions solve genuine problems.

Simplification & User Experience

  • Take complex workflows and turn them into intuitive, modern product experiences.
  • Focus relentlessly on reducing friction, improving usability, and accelerating time-to-value.
  • Champion customer-centric design and ensure user needs remain at the centre of product decisions.

AI-Enabled Product Development

  • Use modern AI tools to accelerate product discovery, documentation, analysis, experimentation, and decision-making.
  • Leverage AI-powered prototyping tools such as Lovable to rapidly validate concepts before development begins.
  • Help shape how AI can be incorporated into products, internal processes, and customer experiences.
  • Promote AI best practices across the wider product and technology organisation.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Partner closely with Engineering, Design, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Leadership teams.
  • Facilitate workshops that lead to decisions, ownership, and action.
  • Build alignment across diverse stakeholder groups without relying on hierarchy.
  • Mentor Product Owners and help elevate product management maturity across the organisation.

Commercial Product Management

  • Ensure product investments support revenue growth, customer retention, and market differentiation.
  • Contribute to business cases, packaging, positioning, and go-to-market planning.
  • Work with commercial teams to ensure new capabilities are valuable, sellable, and adopted successfully.

What We're Looking For

Essential Experience

  • Proven experience owning and delivering product roadmaps within a B2B SaaS environment.
  • Strong track record of shipping products that delivered measurable business outcomes.
  • Experience leading discovery activities, customer workshops, and stakeholder engagement sessions.
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
  • Strong experience partnering with engineering teams and translating ambiguity into clear delivery plans.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive alignment across multiple functions.
  • Experience using data, customer insight, and commercial evidence to guide prioritisation decisions.

AI & Modern Product Practices

  • Comfortable using AI as part of your daily product workflow.
  • Experience with tools such as Claude, Copilot, ChatGPT, Lovable, or similar.
  • Able to use AI to improve speed, quality, and decision-making while maintaining appropriate governance and oversight.
  • Strong understanding of where AI adds value and where human judgement remains critical.

Personal Attributes

  • Commercially minded and outcome-focused.
  • Pragmatic and decisive.
  • Naturally curious and customer-centric.
  • Strong workshop facilitator and communicator.
  • Comfortable challenging assumptions and driving clarity.
  • Passionate about building products that customers genuinely love using.

Desirable Experience

  • Experience within HR technology, talent management, assessment platforms, learning technology, or related sectors.
  • Experience working with data-rich or scientifically driven products.
  • Exposure to regulated environments where trust, governance, and defensibility are important.
  • Experience modernising legacy platforms or transforming established products.

Why Join?

  • Opportunity to shape the future direction of an established and highly respected product platform.
  • Significant influence over product strategy and roadmap decisions.
  • Modern AI-first product and technology culture.
  • High levels of autonomy and ownership.
  • Exposure to complex product challenges with genuine business impact.
  • Collaborative leadership team committed to innovation and transformation.
  • Opportunity to help define the next generation of intelligent, data-driven products.

If you're passionate about building products that create measurable value, simplifying complexity, and leveraging AI to transform how products are designed and delivered, we'd love to hear from you.
