Trust Payments have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Pricing Analyst to join our Data team.

Location: Hybrid - London / Malta

How will you make an impact in this role?

To analyze and optimize Trust's merchant and partner pricing frameworks, ensuring profitability, competitiveness, and pricing alignment in relation to scheme and issuer costs. This role sits within the Pricing and Revenue Assurance function and reports directly to the Head of Pricing and Revenue Assurance.

The position encompasses comprehensive revenue assurance responsibilities, including monitoring and validating revenue streams to ensure accurate billing and collection processes. This involves conducting regular revenue reconciliations, identifying and investigating discrepancies, and implementing controls to prevent revenue leakage.

The role requires close collaboration with finance and data teams to ensure proper revenue recognition and reporting, whilst maintaining oversight of pricing model performance and their impact on overall revenue generation. Key responsibilities include analysing scheme fee structures, monitoring issuer interchange costs, and assessing their impact on pricing competitiveness and margin optimization.

The position focuses on establishing and maintaining revenue assurance frameworks that support business growth whilst safeguarding against financial risks, including continuous monitoring of cost structures and pricing effectiveness to maximize profitability.

What We Expect of You, Day To Day:

  • Analyze, model and maintain interchange and scheme fee databases
  • Build and enhance profitability models at merchant, partner, and portfolio levels
  • Conduct sensitivity, elasticity, and impact analyses to inform pricing changes
  • Support pricing reviews, cost recovery initiatives, and margin protection efforts
  • Partner with Finance, Product, and Sales to identify revenue opportunities and cost optimizations
  • Contribute to new product pricing initiatives

Qualifications

  • 3–6 years' experience in payments, acquiring, or financial analytics ; ideally in the merchant acquirers
  • Understanding of interchange, scheme, and processing economics
  • Proven experience building pricing or profitability models
  • Commercial acumen and experience engaging with cross-functional teams
  • Strong presentation and stakeholder communication skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel
  • Degree in Finance, Data Analytics, Economics, or related field (desirable)
  • SQL and BI tool experience (e.g. Quick Sight) (desirable)
