Overview:
The Project Manager – Professional Services owns the end-to-end delivery of Professional Services engagements for our UK team, managing projects from initial intake through execution and closure to ensure they land on time, within scope, and on budget. Working in close partnership with Delivery Managers, Cloud Delivery Architects, Account Managers, and clients, this role delivers a white-glove experience while upholding TrustedTech’s high standards for operational excellence and quality.
Responsibilities:
Project Lifecycle Management
- Own and manage Professional Services projects from intake through closure, ensuring scope, timeline, and budget adherence.
- Translate the signed statement of work into a detailed project plan, defining phases, milestones, and resource needs.
- Lead project kickoff sessions, aligning internal teams and clients on goals, roles, and success criteria.
- Conduct post-project evaluations to capture lessons learned and close out projects cleanly.
Stakeholder Engagement & Alignment
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate cross-functional resources, including architects, vendors, and partners.
- Lead internal and client meetings, ensuring accountability and follow-through.
- Facilitate alignment on priorities and decisions, resolving conflicts between stakeholders as they arise.
Project Delivery & Performance Oversight
- Monitor risks, dependencies, and progress, proactively escalating issues to leadership as needed.
- Oversee day-to-day project execution, ensuring deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations.
- Track project performance against scope, budget, and timeline, adjusting plans as needed to stay on course.
- Identify and resolve delivery bottlenecks, escalating unresolved issues to leadership.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including project plans, schedules, risk/issue logs, and change records.
- Deliver weekly project status reports to clients and internal stakeholders, highlighting progress, risks, and upcoming milestones.
- Track and document scope changes, ensuring change orders are properly reviewed and recorded.
- Maintain a centralised repository of project artefacts for audit and reference purposes.
Process & SOP Development
- Support continuous improvement of PMO templates, standards, and processes.
- Identify recurring inefficiencies in project delivery and recommend process improvements.
- Contribute to the development of playbooks and best practices for common engagement types.
- Ensure project execution aligns with established PMO governance and quality standards.
Schedule & Timeline Management
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and communication strategies aligned with project objectives, ensuring on-time delivery across the project lifecycle.
- Identify schedule risks early and build contingency plans to protect key milestones.
- Adjust project timelines as scope or resource changes occur, communicating impacts to stakeholders.
- Coordinate with internal teams to align resource availability with project schedules.
Required Skills & Qualifications (must-haves):
- A university degree or equivalent professional qualification; candidates with demonstrated experience and relevant professional certifications (e.g., APM, PRINCE2, or equivalent) in lieu of a formal degree are equally welcome.
- 5+ years of project management experience is required.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of Waterfall, Agile, or hybrid project methodologies.
- Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proficient in managing multiple projects simultaneously while delivering high-quality, white-glove service.
- Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of relevant software, such as Microsoft Office 365, Salesforce, and PSA/project management tools.
- Adapts well to fast-paced, dynamic environments with shifting priorities.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure independently, as well as in a team setting.
- Must demonstrate an advanced level of computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications (nice-to-haves):
- Previous experience as a technical project manager within the Microsoft cloud solutions realm.
- Project management certification such as PRINCE2, APM Project Management Qualification (PMQ), MSP (Managing Successful Programmes), PMP, or equivalent is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, proactive in identifying and addressing issues.
- Experience in a professional services or consulting organisation.

Type: Hybrid role (3 days onsite, 2 days WFH)
