Role Overview

As one of only two DevOps Engineers at TurinTech AI, you'll be joining at a pivotal time with the chance to shape how DevOps is done across the company. You'll have broad responsibilities spanning cloud and on-prem infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, releases, monitoring, and more. This is a high-impact role, ideal for someone who thrives on ownership and variety, and is excited by the opportunity to build and run systems end-to-end. You'll work closely with development teams using technologies like GCP, AWS, GitHub Actions, Kubernetes, Docker.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and resilient infrastructure on GCP.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Kubernetes and Docker for seamless deployment.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using Terraform.
• Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to improve reliability and performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement best practices for deployment, monitoring, and incident response.
• Ensure security best practices are followed and assist in compliance efforts.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues in a timely manner.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve our infrastructure.

Key Requirements

• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
• Strong expertise in GCP services and architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Docker for container orchestration and management.
• Proficiency in using Terraform or alternatives for infrastructure as code.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Github CI, GitLab CI, CircleCI, Jenkins).
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
• Strong scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python) for automation tasks.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with other cloud platforms (e.g GCP, Azure).
• Knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards.
• Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and related technologies.
