The Role
This role sits between client relationships, commercial growth and operational support. You will act as a key point of contact for inbound opportunities, helping manage relationships, support onboarding processes and ensure a smooth experience throughout the customer journey. You will also work closely with internal operational and technical teams, so an interest in technology, systems and digital products is important.
The business is looking for someone proactive, organised and commercially aware who enjoys building relationships, solving problems and working within a fast-moving environment. This is not a heavily scripted sales role. Instead, it would suit someone who communicates naturally, builds trust quickly and is confident managing conversations with both clients and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Relationship Management & Commercial Support
- Manage inbound enquiries and opportunities
- Build strong relationships with prospective and existing clients
- Understand client requirements and support the onboarding process
- Maintain regular communication throughout the customer journey keeping clients informed, reassured and engaged
- Handle questions, concerns and requests in a professional and solutions-focused manner
- Identify opportunities to strengthen and grow client relationships
- Troubleshoot problems and coordinate internally to get them resolved
- Act as the buffer between clients and the technical/product team
Technical Understanding & Product Confidence
- Be confident getting under the hood of the business’ products, systems and services and understanding how it works from both a client and delivery perspective.
- Develop a strong working knowledge of the products, the functionality, setup requirements and technical limitations.
- Be able to explain the platforms clearly to clients, guide them through setup with confidence and answer technical questions at a practical level.
- Understand client requirements well enough to translate them into clear, actionable tasks for the development team.
- Act as the bridge between technical delivery and commercial communication, ensuring clients feel informed, supported and confident in the products.
- Work closely with the founder and developers to stay close to product updates, roadmap developments and implementation requirements.
Commercial Growth & Coordination
- Support the wider commercial team with account growth opportunities
- Help identify opportunities for additional services or support across existing accounts
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth delivery and communication
- Assist with pipeline management and follow-up activity
- Reduce churn by identifying risks before they escalate
- Support the business as it continues to scale and evolve
Internal Collaboration & Operations
- Coordinate internally to ensure actions and projects are progressing effectively
- Help improve internal processes, communication workflows, the customer onboarding and customer success function
- Work closely with senior leadership and operational teams across the business
- Put structure around client communication, issue handling and account growth

- Experience working within fast-growing or scale-up businesses
- Confidence learning and understanding new technology products
