Full Stack Engineer (Go / React)

Senior Full Stack Engineer (Go/React) | UK Remote

We are partnering with a consumer technology group that is scaling significantly this year and looking for a number of Engineers to bolster their Growth team.

In this role you will lead the development of a brand-new, high-traffic quoting application and signup journey in Go / React. This is a "build from the ground up" opportunity within an autonomous, delivery-oriented squad.

The Technical Challenge

You’ll be working on a modern, event-driven architecture designed for massive scale.

• Backend: Expert-level Go (Golang) and gRPC.
• Frontend: React and React Native with TypeScript and GraphQL.
• Infrastructure: Kafka, Kubernetes, and AWS, with a focus on observability (Prometheus/Grafana).

The Role

• Ownership: Lead large technical features from design through to production.
• Impact: Drive technical strategy and mentor junior engineers through pairing and code reviews.
• Pragmatism: Balance high-quality "production-ready" code with the commercial needs of a fast-paced growth environment.

Requirements

• Must be UK-based with full Right to Work
• Commercial Go (Golang) experience is a hard requirement for this Senior level
• Strong experience in Growth or Acquisition environments is a significant plus.
• Experience on the Front End - React / JavaScript or other relevant technology.
