Senior Full Stack Engineer (Go / Python) - London, Hybrid

Exciting opportunity to build the platform allowing AI to operate safely and at scale within the financial sector, unlocking high-level financial guidance to millions.

We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer with a backend focus to join our high-calibre team and help scale the mission-critical systems powering our platform.

The Role

You will work in a small team and own critical backend services that handle sensitive financial data. You will work across a diverse stack, including Python and Go, to build robust APIs and architect systems that scale gracefully as our user base grows.

What You’ll Do

• Engineering: Design and maintain backend services while integrating with banking systems and third-party providers.
• Scalability: Identify bottlenecks and implement caching strategies (Redis, CDN) and resilience patterns.
• DevOps: Containerize services using Docker and Kubernetes, contributing to CI/CD pipelines and production observability.
• Security: Build systems with security as a first-class concern, ensuring compliance with fintech regulatory requirements.
• Mentorship: Guide junior and mid-level engineers through technical coaching and code reviews.

What We’re Looking For

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Technical Depth: Strong proficiency in at least two of the following: Go, Python, TypeScript, or Java.
• Infrastructure: Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Mindset: A clear communicator who moves with urgency and has a passion for building high-quality, distributed systems.
