We are seeking an experienced Senior Cloud Operations & Infrastructure Developer to join our global Cloud Operations & Infrastructure team within the R&D function. The role combines software engineering, cloud operations, automation, and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) to deliver secure, stable, scalable, and highly reliable cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and enhance cloud platforms, applications, and infrastructure capabilities.
  • Automate operational processes and improve platform reliability using code and Infrastructure as Code.
  • Manage cloud deployments, monitoring, incident response, and production operations.
  • Drive improvements across reliability, security, performance, and cloud cost management.
  • Proactively manage infrastructure, certificates, storage, backups, and cloud health.
  • Implement and continuously improve SRE practices, automation, and operational processes.
  • Ensure new services meet operational readiness, security, and compliance standards.
  • Collaborate with development teams, architects, and business stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate technical and operational documentation.
  • Participate in a shared 24x7 follow-the-sun on-call rotation, primarily supporting UK working hours.

Required Technical Skills

  • Strong experience in Cloud Operations, DevOps, Software Development, and Cloud Deployment.
  • Expertise in Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
  • Strong programming skills in C#, Go, or Node.js.
  • Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Strong knowledge of Terraform, Bicep, or CloudFormation.
  • Scripting experience with PowerShell, Python, or Node.js.
  • Good understanding of Cloud Security, Networking, and Storage.
  • Experience with Azure Service Operator (ASO), Helm, and GitOps.
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD and modern cloud engineering practices.
