Application Support Specialist

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Finacle Support Analyst to join a dynamic banking technology team in London. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing functional and technical support for the Infosys Finacle core banking platform, ensuring maximum system availability and operational efficiency across the bank.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day L1, L2 and L3 support for the Finacle core banking system, resolving incidents and service requests within agreed SLAs
  • Investigate, diagnose and resolve Finacle application issues across modules including Deposits, Loans, Payments, Trade Finance and General Ledger
  • Liaise with Infosys and third-party vendors to manage escalated technical issues and patch deployments
  • Support system upgrades, patch releases and new module implementations in collaboration with the IT and business change teams
  • Develop and maintain functional and technical documentation including runbooks, SOPs and known error databases
  • Perform Finacle configuration changes and parameterisation in line with change management procedures
  • Work closely with business stakeholders including Operations, Finance, Compliance and Risk to understand requirements and translate into system solutions
  • Monitor system performance, proactively identify potential issues and implement preventative measures
  • Support UAT and regression testing for system changes and new releases
  • Assist in data migration, reconciliation and reporting activities as required
  • Participate in on-call rota for critical system support outside of business hours where required

Skills & Experience Required

  • Proven hands-on experience supporting Infosys Finacle (version 10x or above preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of core banking operations and banking products — deposits, loans, payments, trade finance
  • Experience with Finacle modules such as FCDB, FCLM, FCTF, FCPB or similar
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent communication skills — able to bridge technical and non-technical stakeholders
