Location: Witchford, near Ely, Cambridgeshire

Salary: up to £32,000 per annum

Contract: Full-time, On-Site

The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Electronics Test Technician to join a growing research and development lab specialising in embedded computing, digital video, and AI/ML technology.

You will be working hands-on with cutting-edge embedded computer modules, peripheral cards, and systems, collaborating closely with a skilled team of Electronics and Software Engineers. This role offers a chance to play a key part in ensuring product quality, performance, and reliability in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct production batch testing of embedded computer modules, peripheral cards, and systems
• Collect and record detailed test data, reporting findings to the engineering team
• Carry out product conformance testing to required standards
• Investigate and resolve hardware-related issues

Essential Technical Skills

• Proven experience in circuit board testing
• Ability to read and interpret electronic circuit diagrams
• Competence in using digital meters and oscilloscopes
• Proficiency in soldering techniques
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
• Qualified to C&G, HND, or HNC level in electronics or related field
