About the Role

We’re seeking a highly skilled Acoustic Research Engineer to join a world-leading research and development team focused on advancing the future of audio technology and human hearing. This role is an exciting opportunity to work in a cutting-edge acoustic laboratory, featuring anechoic chambers and one of the world’s largest configurable acoustic environments.

As part of a multidisciplinary team, you’ll contribute to groundbreaking work in virtual acoustics, auditory perception, and real-world data collection, helping to develop technologies that bridge physical and virtual spaces.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and conduct acoustic measurements and auditory perception experiments.
  • Develop and implement systems for data acquisition and signal processing using Python, MATLAB, and MaxMSP.
  • Collaborate with researchers and engineers to integrate acoustic data into experimental platforms.
  • Plan, set up, and execute complex acoustic data capture sessions involving microphones, speakers, and wearable prototype devices.
  • Document methodologies and results in high-quality technical reports.

Essential Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Acoustics, Audio Engineering, Signal Processing, or a related technical field.
  • 3+ years of industry experience working on audio technology or acoustic system development.
  • Proven track record of designing and executing controlled audio/acoustic experiments.
