AI Prompt Engineering content Specialist
Duration: 6-Month Contract
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced AI Content & Prompt Engineering Specialist to join a fast-paced, global technology programme focused on improving AI-driven content experiences across digital platforms.
This is a strategic, senior-level contract role ideal for someone with strong LLM expertise, prompt engineering capability, and independent project leadership experience. You will play a key role in refining AI-generated outputs, developing scalable prompt systems, and driving operational excellence across multiple workstreams.
This position requires someone comfortable working autonomously in ambiguous, high-impact environments.
Key Responsibilities:-
- Develop and refine system prompts to improve large language model (LLM) outputs for product use cases
- Evaluate and iterate on AI-generated content to ensure quality, accuracy, and consistency
- Lead and manage multiple project workstreams independently
- Translate data insights into clear, actionable recommendations for product and engineering teams
- Design scalable workflows, templates, and operational processes
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, design, and research stakeholders
- Support model evaluation and content quality initiatives
- Guide smaller teams within structured workflows where required
Essential Experience (Non-Negotiable):-
- 8-10+ years of experience in content strategy, AI programmes, or related technical environments
- Proven experience in prompt engineering and LLM model evaluation
- Experience managing projects independently
- Strong understanding of AI content systems and model behaviour
- Experience working cross-functionally with technical teams
- Strong analytical skills and ability to produce insight-driven reports
- Proficiency in Google Sheets or similar data tools
- Ability to work autonomously and proactively
Highly Desirable:-
- Experience working within AI start-ups or high-growth technology environments
- Background in generative AI, conversational AI, or human-in-the-loop systems
- Experience building prompt libraries or evaluation frameworks
- Exposure to AI safety, red-teaming, or model refinement processes.
