Tittle - (Software Engineer IV/V)

Location - London, UK

Contract - 6 + Months

Pay Range - £55- £60/hour via PAYE (Inside IR35)

About the Role

We are looking for Research Engineers who are passionate about advancing the next generation of artificial intelligence. You will join a world-class AI research team working on cutting-edge machine learning systems, large language models (LLMs), and AI agents that push the boundaries of modern AI.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize machine learning systems and AI infrastructure.
• Develop and evaluate large language models (LLMs), foundation models, and AI agents.
• Implement scalable solutions using Python and PyTorch.
• Conduct experiments, analyze results, and improve model performance through data-driven research.
• Collaborate with research scientists and software engineers to translate research into production-ready solutions.
• Contribute to the development of new methodologies, tools, and frameworks for modern AI systems.

Required Skills

• Strong programming experience in Python.
• Hands-on experience with PyTorch or similar deep learning frameworks.
• Experience building or working with Large Language Models (LLMs), Generative AI, Foundation Models, or AI Agents.
• Solid understanding of Machine Learning and Deep Learning concepts.
• Experience designing and executing machine learning experiments.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a scientific and analytical mindset.
• Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Mathematics, Physics, or a related technical field.
