Business Analyst – Pharmacy Domain
East Midlands/ (Hybrid – infrequent onsite)
6-Month Fixed Term | Inside IR35 Contract
We're looking for an experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in pharmacy systems from shop and warehouse management to data migration and system implementation to join our growing digital transformation team.
You'll play a pivotal role in bridging business needs and technical delivery, ensuring that every solution enhances efficiency, accuracy, and compliance across the pharmacy value chain.
The Role
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyse, and translate pharmacy operational needs into clear, actionable requirements.
  • Lead workshops with pharmacy and warehouse teams to understand workflows and identify areas for improvement.
  • Partner with development, QA, and vendor teams to deliver robust, user-focused system implementations.
  • Support data migration activities including planning, mapping, validation, and execution.
  • Work closely with third-party application vendors to manage integrations and documentation.
  • Assist in UAT planning, execution, and issue resolution.
  • Provide domain expertise in pharmacy inventory management, prescription handling, billing, and regulatory compliance.
What You'll Bring
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, including 2+ years in pharmacy-related projects.
  • Proven experience with Pharmacy Shop and Warehouse Management Systems.
  • Strong understanding of pharmacy workflows, inventory control, and compliance requirements.
  • Demonstrated experience in data migration and system integration.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency with JIRA, Azure DevOps, Confluence, MS Visio, and Excel.
