We are looking for a highly analytical and business-focused Business Data Analyst to support data-driven transformation initiatives within a complex enterprise environment.

In this role, you will bridge the gap between business and technology, working closely with stakeholders to translate requirements into actionable insights, scalable solutions, and high-quality data-driven outcomes. You will play a key role in enabling better decision-making through robust analysis, reporting, and collaboration across cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to gather, analyse, and document business and data requirements
  • Translate complex requirements into functional specifications, user stories, data mappings, and reporting definitions
  • Perform data analysis, profiling, validation, and reconciliation to ensure data accuracy and integrity
  • Support the design and delivery of analytics solutions and enterprise data platforms
  • Work closely with data engineers, architects, and QA teams to support data integration, testing, and UAT activities
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms
  • Conduct gap analysis, root cause analysis, and trend analysis to provide actionable business insights
  • Contribute to data governance, data quality, and data lineage initiatives
  • Ensure alignment with enterprise data architecture, standards, and best practices

What We’re Looking For:

  • Extensive experience working as a Business Data Analyst in enterprise environments
  • Strong expertise in data analytics, business intelligence, and data-driven transformation programmes
  • Proven ability to translate business needs into technical and analytical solutions
  • Hands-on experience with SQL, Excel, and data analysis techniques
  • Experience working with cloud-based data platforms such as Microsoft Azure, Databricks, and modern data warehouses
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing, ETL/ELT processes, and data governance frameworks
  • Experience building insightful dashboards and reports to support decision-making
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills
  • Ability to operate effectively in cross-functional, Agile delivery environments
