We are seeking an experienced and strategic Lead Infrastructure Architect to join our team in London. In this key leadership role, you will define and drive enterprise architecture across large-scale technology programmes, working closely with stakeholders to align IT strategy with business goals. You will be instrumental in shaping end-to-end solutions, providing architectural governance, and ensuring delivery of scalable, future-ready platforms for our clients.
The Role:
- Lead the development and implementation of enterprise architecture frameworks and strategies.
- Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to align architecture with business objectives.
- Drive solution architecture across digital transformation and enterprise-level IT programmes.
- Provide architectural oversight and governance throughout the solution lifecycle.
- Translate complex business requirements into scalable, sustainable architectural designs.
- Work closely with delivery, product, and infrastructure teams to ensure architectural integrity.
- Evaluate and recommend tools, platforms, and technologies to improve architecture practice.
- Support pre-sales and proposal efforts with architectural insights and technical leadership.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders on strategic technology direction.
- Represent the company in key customer meetings and engagements.
What you will bring:
- Minimum of 10+ years of experience in IT architecture roles, with at least 6 years in a lead or enterprise architecture capacity.
- Proven experience leading architecture for large-scale programmes across multiple domains.
- Strong background in enterprise-level solution design, integration, and technology governance.
- Expertise in modern enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman).
- Broad understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), microservices, APIs, and data architectures.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including at C-level.
- Ability to work across diverse teams and effectively influence decision-making.
- Experience in both Agile and Waterfall delivery models.
- Previous client-facing consulting experience preferred.
Desirable:
- TOGAF certification or equivalent.
- Background across multiple sectors such as BFSI, Retail, Healthcare
- Understanding of security, compliance, and regulatory considerations in enterprise environments.
