IT Apprentice
UTC Warrington is a technical college for 14-19-year-olds. The college opened in central Warrington in September 2016. We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic IT Apprentice to join our dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to start their career in IT, gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment.
Role
- Support teachers and students with their IT queries
- Work as part of the IT team solving issues
- Repair equiptment
- Install new IT software and hardware with guidance
Training
IT Solutions Apprentice Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard, which you will receive training to develop and demonstrate the knowledge, skills and behaviour also included:
- End-Point Assessment (EPA)
- Work-based learning
- 20% off the job training
- Training is delivered online and face-to-face
- A nominated tutor
- Functional Skills in Maths and English if required
Embedded within our apprenticeship offer is the L3 IT Solutions Apprenticeship.This is a nationally recognised qualification that is considered by some IT settings as an essential qualification for the IT sector.
