The UTSC Student Managed Fund (the Fund) is a collaborative initiative between the Department of Management and the UTSC Library Finance & Trading Lab. It provides BBA students with hands-on experience in managing an investment fund, bridging the gap between academic finance theory and industry practices. Students participate in all aspects of the investment process, including research, security selection, compliance, and reporting. The program prepares participants for careers in global capital markets, including roles in asset management, trading, research, and investment banking. The Fund also fosters engagement with alumni, offering opportunities for mentorship and collaboration to enhance the learning experience at the University of Toronto Scarborough.
Role Description
This is a full-time, remote role for a Crypto Product Manager. The Crypto Product Manager will be responsible for developing and executing product strategies, conducting market research, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative crypto-related solutions. Day-to-day tasks include defining product roadmaps, overseeing product lifecycles, and working on technical integration and compliance projects. The role entails a mix of strategy, operational management, and stakeholder interaction within the rapidly evolving crypto landscape.
Qualifications
- Product Management skills, including product lifecycle management and roadmap development
- Strong knowledge of cryptocurrency, blockchain technology, and financial markets
- Experience in market research, identifying user needs, and competitive analysis
- Proficiency in collaboration with cross-functional teams, including engineering and design
- Project management expertise and ability to meet tight deadlines
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder engagement
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance in the cryptocurrency and financial space is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field
- Experience with cryptocurrency products or blockchain projects is strongly preferred
