Software Engineer - Defence Tech

What Will I Be Doing:

  • Design, build, and test core software platforms and intuitive user interfaces
  • Develop systems that enable collaboration between autonomous platforms and process large-scale sensor data
  • Create user-facing applications that present complex information clearly and effectively
  • Write high-quality, reliable code for mission-critical environments
  • Work closely with end users to rapidly iterate on features and improvements
  • Test and integrate software with robotic and autonomous systems in real-world settings
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineers across AI/ML, networking, and robotics

What we’re looking for:

  • A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong programming skills in either:
  • Backend languages such as C++, Java, Rust, or Python, or
  • Frontend development using TypeScript/JavaScript (e.g. React or Angular)
  • A genuine enthusiasm for learning and working across a broad technology stack
  • The ability to solve complex technical problems in a fast-paced environment

Additional requirements:

  • Right to work in the UK
  • Willingness to undergo UK security clearance (SC or above)
  • Ability and willingness to work primarily on-site, with occasional travel
