Project Manager (Technical Infrastructure)

Hourly Rate: £60 - £70 per hour

Contract Length: 12-months

Location: West London (Once a week)

Start Date: ASAP

We’re looking for an experienced Infrastructure Project Manager to join a global Technology & Operations function who are going through a business separation. You’ll lead a range of complex IT and infrastructure projects across a large-scale technology environment, working closely with engineering teams, architects, and senior stakeholders to drive delivery and bring structure to a fast-paced organisation.

Key Experience Needed

Proven background delivering IT, infrastructure, or technical projects in complex or enterprise environments
Strong understanding of IT systems, infrastructure, service management, networking, security, and/or AV technologies
Experience collaborating closely with engineering, architecture, and technical delivery teams
Skilled in project planning, risk management, budgeting, and stakeholder communication
Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-ambiguity environments with maturing processes
Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate technical detail for diverse audiences
Formal project management training (Agile, PMP, Prince2, Scrum, etc.)
Experience in media, broadcast, or similarly technical environments is highly advantageous

Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end delivery of technical and infrastructure projects across a global IT portfolio
Define project scope, deliverables, timelines, and key project documentation
Manage budgets, forecasts, risks, and stakeholder expectations
Work closely with engineering teams to understand technical designs, constraints, and dependencies
Support the development and enhancement of project and portfolio management processes
Identify critical paths, track delivery progress, and ensure high levels of project control
Communicate project status clearly across both technical teams and senior stakeholders
Drive continuous improvement through data-led insights, structured reporting, and retrospectives
Travel to other sites in EU when necessary*
