Business Administrator Apprentice
An exciting opportunity to work towards a Level 3 Business Administrator apprenticeship while gaining hands-on experience in a busy school office. Supporting attendance and administrative functions, this role is ideal for a motivated, organised individual with good IT skills and an interest in education administration.
Role
Within this role you will:
- Supporting the day-to-day running of a busy school office
- Managing pupil attendance records and ensuring information is kept accurate and up to date
- Welcoming parents, visitors and external agencies, providing a friendly and professional first impression of the school
- Answering telephone calls and responding to email enquiries
- Assisting with general administrative tasks, including filing, data entry and preparing documents
- Working alongside experienced staff and learning all aspects of school administration
- Handling confidential information responsibly and in line with school procedures
- Helping to create a positive, organised and supportive environment for pupils, staff and visitors
Training
The candidate will follow a Level 3 Apprenticeship programme and study towards a full Standard as a Business Administrator. This training will be structured and delivered by Cheshire College– South & West. If the candidate does not hold GCSE grades A-C (9-4) or equivalent, they will be required to complete a Level 1 Functional Skill in the relevant subject.
Successful completion of the apprenticeship will equip you with recognised qualifications and practical experience, supporting future career development within administration and education settings. Permanent employment may be available following successful completion, subject to performance and business needs.
