The Brief:
Title: AE Manager
Location: London (Hybrid, 3–4 days in office)
Salary & Package: £70k-£95k + Double OTE
Job Summary:
This is a front-line leadership role managing two pods (4 AEs total) in a high-velocity, upper mid-market sales environment. The position combines player-coach responsibilities and team leadership, driving predictable performance, coaching excellence, and adherence to structured playbooks.
You’ll begin by running a small patch as an AE for the first quarter to gain a deep understanding of the product, sales cycle, and customer motion before transitioning fully into management. The focus is on executional excellence, data-driven coaching, and maintaining consistency across the team’s methodology and metrics.
Experienced Required:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
- 5–7 years in SaaS sales, ideally within MarTech or Marketing SaaS
- 2+ years of team leadership (frontline AE management)
- Demonstrated success managing 4+ AEs with consistent quota attainment
- Strong analytical and data-driven approach to performance management
- Experience in structured, high-output, process-led sales environments
- Resilient, hands-on leader with grit and accountability
- Comfortable operating in-office 3–4 days per week
- Bonus: background in SEO, content, or performance marketing
