This is a fast-scaling FinTech business on a mission to modernise pensions. With over £1bn in assets under management and 100,000+ savers, they’re transforming a traditionally complex and outdated industry into something simple, accessible, and engaging.
Financial advisers are a key growth channel, and the business is investing heavily in building strong, long-term relationships across the IFA ecosystem.
Job Summary:
This is a consultative Account Executive role focused exclusively on Independent Financial Advisers (IFAs).
You’ll work with SDR-qualified meetings and take ownership of the first meaningful commercial conversation — understanding how advisers currently manage pensions for their clients, what providers they trust, and how decisions are made within their firms.
Your role is to build credibility quickly, demonstrate clear value, and position the platform as a solution advisers are confident recommending to their clients.
You’ll:
- Own a pipeline of qualified IFA meetings
- Run structured discovery around client types, existing providers, and advice processes
- Deliver tailored product demonstrations focused on client outcomes and ease of recommendation
- Handle objections around trust, regulation, and switching providers
- Build long-term relationships that lead to consistent client referrals
Success in this role comes from your ability to influence adviser behaviour, build trust, and create genuine conviction — not from high-volume closing.
Experienced Required:
- Proven experience as a B2B Account Executive or similar closing role
- Direct experience selling into IFAs / financial advisers
- Strong track record of hitting or exceeding revenue targets
- Highly consultative sales approach with strong discovery and objection-handling skills
- Comfortable selling regulated, trust-based products
- Ability to build credibility with senior financial professionals
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of UK pensions / auto-enrolment / retirement products
- Experience in FinTech, WealthTech, or financial services
- Familiarity with compliance-led buying processes
- Experience in a scale-up or high-growth environment
