Initial 4 Month contract

£525-550 per day, Outside IR35

1 day in London office per month

ASAP start

NO SC Clearance for this one however we need extensive Gov / Public Sector experience.

The Senior Service Designer will be responsible for:

● Defining service ownership and governance structures

● Producing a comprehensive Service Design Map

● Designing the organisational structure, including multidisciplinary team composition and role definitions

● Establishing governance frameworks, operating routines and BAU processes

● Creating detailed documentation and final handover materials (service ownership pack)

● Leading stakeholder engagement and facilitating workshops to ensure alignment and sign-off

● Ensuring all outputs are robust, implementable and embedded within the organisation

● Supporting the transition from programme delivery into BAU service operations

We need a Senior SD with:

● Strong senior-level Service Design experience in complex, multistakeholder environments.

● Proven ability to design and embed Target Operating Models and organisational structures.

● Deep expertise in end-to-end service mapping and operational design.

● Experience designing governance frameworks, decision-making structures, and operating routines.

● Strong organisational design capability (roles, responsibilities, decision rights, MDT structures).

● Excellent stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation skills across senior business, technology and partner stakeholders.

● Experience supporting transition from programme delivery into BAU operations.

● Strong understanding of governance, compliance, and service operations.
