Head of SAP Delivery Field Based Salary range between £85,000 and £95,000 per annum, car/car allowance plus 33 days holiday (including bank holidays), pension, bonus, life assurance, employee assistance programme, wellbeing support, and flexible benefits including cycle to work scheme About the Role As the Head of SAP Delivery, you will be the ultimate custodian of project execution, client relationships, and risk management. You will ensure that complex, multi-year digital transformation projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget, while instilling absolute confidence in potential and existing customers through powerful project governance and thought leadership on delivery excellence. As part of your key responsibilities you’ll:
- Direct and mentor Programme Managers and Project Managers in managing daily tasks, budgets, and complex RAID logs (Risks, Actions, Issues, Dependencies).
- Oversee the traffic control function to optimally match consultant skills to project timelines across the entire SI.
- Function as the gatekeeper for solution quality, managing QA managers and specialised Test Automation Consultants utilising tools like Tricentis or UiPath.
- Oversee Organisational Change Management (OCM) and training initiatives to facilitate smooth user adoption and train-the-trainer programs for S/4HANA environments.
- Present our delivery frameworks, QA methodologies, and de-risking strategies to senior stakeholders during the final stages of the sales cycle.
- Host webinars and roundtables focusing on digital transformation success stories, OCM best practices, and project delivery methodologies.
- Robust project or programme management experience, specifically delivering large-scale, complex, multi-year SAP ERP or S/4HANA digital transformations.
- Proven experience in resource planning, capacity management, and financial governance for large project portfolios.
- Strong understanding of Quality Assurance methodologies, automated testing tools (such as Tricentis or UiPath), and Organisational Change Management (OCM) frameworks.
- Highly articulated communication skills, with the ability to command a room and speak confidently to senior stakeholders.
- Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner, or Managing Successful Programmes (MSP) are preferred.
- Flexibility for national and international travel to client sites for project kick-offs and critical steering committee meetings.
