Bank Digital Services Delivery Technician - Band 4
Job summary
We are recruiting for an exciting opportunity within Lincolnshire Digital Services to support the Infrastructure project team in delivering a desktop hardware refresh across GP practices throughout Lincolnshire.
Main duties of the job
This role requires previous IT experience, strong field engineering skills, and the confidence to troubleshoot technical issues, including liaising with third parties when necessary. Accuracy in documentation and record-keeping is essential, and you will be expected to uphold a consistently high professional standard. This is a great opportunity to gain NHS experience as you'll be working alongside a experienced NHS IT engineer
Typical responsibilities include:
- Attending GP practices to replace desktop hardware
- Ensuring all software and clinical applications function correctly after device replacement
- Confirming with the practice manager that systems are fully operational

This will not constitute a formal merger of the two organisations, but will bring the Trusts together under a single Board and Executive Leadership Team, with the goal of improving the care that is provided to patients both in the community and in hospitals across Lincolnshire. Both Trusts will retain their separate statutory names and legal obligations.
The Group will be known as Lincolnshire Community and Hospitals NHS Group (LCHG).

Person Specification
Qualifications
- 4 GCSEs Grade C or equivalent.
- Diploma level qualification in a computing related field and/or equivalent professional experience and evidence of on-going personal development.
- Advanced ECDL or equivalent knowledge
- Formal ICT related qualification or equivalent level of ICT experience.
- Customer Service Qualification.
Previous Experience
- A working knowledge of PC's, Microsoft operating systems and software.
- Experience of working in a busy Digital Environment
- Some experience of providing support of PC users.
Evidence of Particular
- Knowledge of configuration/installation of PC applications, peripherals and hardware.
- Proficient in using Windows
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office and other Desktop applications
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of Windows, Apple and Android endpoints
- Knowledge of MDM including Apple Business Manager & Intune.
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365

- Methodical approach to work following set guidelines.
- Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Ability to travel across sites/ county.
