Job summary

The Senior Project Manager will support the Digital Transformation Programme Manager to deliver the EPR transformation programme and be responsible for managing and delivering specific projects within it.
The successful candidate will be supported through appraisal, meaningful objective setting and personal development to flourish within this role and provide the necessary impact to deliver on a challenging agenda.
The successful post holder will need to work with internal Trust delivery teams as well as third party suppliers and partners whilst representing Digital Services. The position will be required to manage all aspects of project governance using PRINCE2 methodology.
The successful candidates should be highly motivated, possess a current professional qualification (eg, PRINCE2), relevant experience and evidence of delivering IT infrastructure projects plus experience as per the Person Specification. Good organisation and communication skills are essential. The candidate must be willing and able to travel between all Trust sites.
Main duties of the job
Key responsibilities include:
- Organise and administer associated meetings, keeping up-to-date action logs
- Responsible for the development of project plans aligned to Trust strategy and in particular, the EPR programme, with milestones and outcome KPI measures to achieve agreed deliverables and benefits.
- Responsible for delivery against agreed milestones within programme/project plans, through the effective co-ordination of the programme/project and their dependencies/interfaces, analysing any conflicts between programmes/projects and make recommendations on corrective action to resolve these. This can involve conveying contentious information and negotiating agreements to enable progress
- Responsible for driving the delivery of projects, within agreed parameters of cost, timescales, and quality for the overall delivery of the programme/project, demonstrating achievement of outcomes/business change in accordance with the programme plan and governance arrangements.

Lincolnshire Community Health Services NHS Trust (LCHS) and United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust (ULHT) have come together in a Group arrangement, with the goal of improving the care provided to patients across the county.
This will not constitute a formal merger of the two organisations, but will bring the Trusts together under a single Board and Executive Leadership Team, with the goal of improving the care that is provided to patients both in the community and in hospitals across Lincolnshire. Both Trusts will retain their separate statutory names and legal obligations.
The Group will be known as Lincolnshire Community and Hospitals NHS Group (LCHG).

Person Specification
Qualification
- Educated to Degree level or equivalent experience
- Professional management training / qualification - post graduate diploma level
- Evidence of continuing professional development
- Project Management Qualification e.g. Prince 2 practitioner or equivalent
- Evidence of professional qualification in leadership and management or experience managing and developing teams
Previous Experience
- Experience of managing multiple concurrent digital projects
- Demonstrable experience in managing and influencing project teams
- Significant experience of communicating and working with staff at all levels
- Experience of budget and staff management
- Experience of managing competing priorities
- Experience of change management / service redesign
- Experience of managing and successfully delivering a Programme
- Knowledge of contract management involving multiple external suppliers
- Experience of large-scale procurement within an NHS environment
- Experience of managing complex digital projects in the NHS.
- Experience of an Electronic Patient Record (EPR) implementation project
- Experience of using or working with NerveCentre system
Knowledge/Skills/Aptitude
