Computerised Maintenance Management System Analyst
The Role:
It’s an exciting time to join our high pace team as we provide tangible improvements to the business. The objectives of Maintenance Services within United Utilities are to focus on maximising equipment reliability, minimising downtime, and optimising maintenance resources to support overall operational efficiency. Our key goals include ensuring asset availability, extending equipment lifespan, reducing maintenance costs, and enhancing safety and environmental compliance. To achieve this, we develop and implement proactive strategies such as preventive and predictive maintenance. Ultimately, our sucessful Computerised Maintenance Management System Analyst will seek to align maintenance activities with business objectives, to improve productivity, and contribute to sustained organisational performance.
Key Duties:
- Monitoring and actioning data quality rule failures while continuously improving these by identifying trends
- Bulk loading of data from customer requests to support business changes
- The validation of data loads by cross business teams
- Ensure correct tasks are generated from a workbank
- Routine Data Housekeeping activities to ensure corporate data compliance
- Raising and tracking requests of system issues requiring IT support to fix
- User acceptance testing within the SAP environment when system changes are made
Skills & Experience required:
- An extremely high level of computer literacy with respect to SAP applications, but also MS Office
- Experience within analysing large data sets, with an ability to present technical information/results/findings in a way which makes sense to the business
- The ability to drive their own self development in relation to maintenance and reliability and SAP PM best practices.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build and manage relationships at senior levels within the organisation and across major functions within the business
- Results focused to ensure that internal KPI’s are continuously met or exceeded
- Good technical appreciation with the ability to understand and help formulate solutions to a wide range of technical problems related to process asset reliability
- Creative thinker who is also self-motivated, logical, task focused, adaptable and capable of working on own initiative but recognise when to escalate.
