Job Purpose

As Metering Lead you will manage a high performing team to deliver business critical activities, through performance management, motivation and development.

Ensuring that key activities are prioritised and work managed effectively to achieve regulatory and market SLA performance. Playing a key part in the management and delivery of Developer Services and Metering activities and the associated results published in peer comparison reports by MOSL and your team will be expected to play a central role in driving performance and any associated improvements.

Accountabilities & Responsibilities

  • Day to day management of a team of Data Analysts/Case Managers/Customer Advisors – accountable for workforce planning, forecasting & submission of teams leave, overtime, bonus etc
  • Ownership of the day-to-day management of all workstreams, supporting with any associated reporting
  • Stakeholder management and building strong working relationships with external and internal parties to provide exceptional services and give and receive feedback on how these may be improved
  • Play a central role in driving performance and develop a strong technical understanding within the team to deliver improved performance
  • At the forefront of best practice in coaching techniques, using different styles and approaches, sharing insight and best practice to deliver a continuous improvement culture
  • Lead daily/weekly jeopardy management meetings with managers/contractors and team huddles/meetings

Technical Skills & Experience

  • Full understanding of all industry measures for BRMEX/CMEX/DMEX/OPS/MPS and GSS requirements with the ability to translate strategy into operational activities compliance being a main focus
  • Good technical knowledge of all aspects of metering and associated equipment and understanding of AMR, Network monitoring, Smart metering technologies  & and fixed Network solutions
  • Excellent technical knowledge & understanding of JIRA, CMOS, Metering Salesforce, WALTO/ALTO and Temetra
  • Microsoft Office skills in particular Excel for report production, Word, Power Point and SharePoint
  • Self-motivated with the ability to motivate others with a strong performance drive
  • Strong organisational & planning skills to ensure that activities are allocated, prioritised and managed through to completion within given SLA’s
  • Ability to make judgements and decisions on technical issues based on an excellent understanding of wholesale requirements for both the immediate and long term future of the business
  • Ability to be mainly self-sufficient within the role with a heavy reliance on maintaining all controls and audits effectively with minimal support 
  • This role may not be eligible for the visa sponsorship
