Job Purpose

We have a great opportunity for a People MI Analyst to join our team. As the role holder, you will play a key part in delivering an efficient and insightful People MI service to the business.  

You will be responsible for producing accurate monthly and ad hoc reporting, drawing on multiple data sources to identify trends and patterns that support strategic decision-making. You will also be responsible for creating and maintaining organisational structures within SAP, ensuring data integrity and alignment with business needs. 

Accountabilities & Responsibilities

  • Run ad hoc SAP reports for all UU businesses within agreed timeframes, then collate, analyse, interpret, and report on data both internally and externally, providing insights on people metrics, reporting, as well as advanced and predictive analytics.
  • Ensure the integrity of People data in terms of accuracy through comprehensive data validation and the implementation of robust quality control processes, by running regular audit reports and data cleanse exercises and ensuring continuous improvement of data.?
  • Support all cyclical activity including bonus, flex benefits, annual leave and pay review processes, always ensuring data validity and accuracy.
  • Develop, design, and maintain interactive data visualisations and dashboards to effectively communicate insights and support data-driven decision-making across the organization.
  • Design and implement automated processes and workflows to streamline HR data collection, reporting, and analysis, enhancing efficiency and reducing manual effort

Technical Skills & Experience

  • Numeric and analytical skills are critical?
  • Skill to extract meaningful data from the systems and turn this into management information for our customers, with the ability to present this information in the best possible way depending on the audience.?
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, including advanced formula creation, with working knowledge of PowerQuery, SQL, Alteryx, and Power BI/Tableau.
  • Ability to discuss SAP capabilities when embedding new processes/changes into the department providing reasons and alternatives?
  • Strong problem solving with the ability to investigate issues and provide solutions?

Qualifications

  • Qualified to a minimum level of A-Levels (or equivalent) in relevant disciplines - such as mathematics, computer science, data science?
