Job Purpose
We have a great opportunity for a Senior Income Analyst (Predictive Analytics) to join us and support the Income senior leadership, operational management and their teams by providing the relevant analysis and reporting to enable the effective management of the Income and Customer business areas.
Using data from our In-house systems and from third parties, you will develop in-depth analysis to support customer affordability and vulnerability models.
You will have the relevant skills to develop predictive scorecards to enable selection of the most appropriate strategic next best action for customer accounts. You will develop, deploy and carry out retrospective analysis on these scorecards to enable optimisation of their predictive strength.
Accountabilities & Responsibilities
- Work together with the functional area, develop and deploy reporting in the form of Dashboards, spreadsheets, predictive models and any other appropriate platforms to support the various Income functional areas.
- Develop and deploy predictive models enabling optimised collections strategies
- Develop SQL data views ready for production and support the Central Data team in timely deployment.
- Pro-actively identify reporting and operational opportunities, highlighting them to the team and providing the reporting required to support business change.
- Regularly review existing reporting and productionised data tables to ensure that they remain relevant and accurate.
- Provide cover when required for other analysts.
Technical Skills & Experience
- Ability to analyse and interpret information and able to make sound and timely decisions based on analysis.
- Experience with database environments and data set manipulation particularly in Excel, Alteryx, and Exasol/Databricks and SQL development.
- Working knowledge of Power BI, R and/or Python would be an advantage.
- Distinctive problem solving and numerical skills with a high degree of analytical rigour and keen attention to detail.
- Proven track record in data manipulation and interpretation for Management Information
- Excellent attention to detail and track record of demonstrating high standards of accuracy.
- Determination and ability to work to tight deadlines.

Qualifications
- Educated to degree level in a mathematical, statistical or scientific discipline with at least a 2.1.
