My client is looking for a technically strong Software Engineering Manager to lead a team of 6–8 developers working across several business‐critical projects. While this is a hands‐off leadership role, your engineering expertise will be critical as you'll use your technical judgement to influence architecture, shape coding standards, and create an environment where great engineers can do their best work.
What You'll Be Doing
- Leading a team of talented software engineers delivering high‐impact features and platform enhancements
- Setting technical direction, guiding architectural decisions, and championing engineering best practices
- Partnering with product and design to turn ideas into scalable, elegant solutions
- Coaching and developing engineers, supporting career growth, and fostering a culture of technical excellence
- Ensuring high‐quality delivery through thoughtful planning, code reviews, and continuous improvement
- Owning recruitment activities including CV screening, interviewing, and onboarding
