Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Lead Automation Engineer to support a major transformation programme within a leading financial organisation.

This is a hands-on role focused on automation strategy, framework development, and delivering functional, API, integration, security and performance testing solutions.

Key Skills Required

8-10+ years' Test Automation experience
Strong Karate Framework experience
Automation framework development
API testing using SOAP UI and Postman
Security and performance testing experience (JMeter/LoadRunner)
Enterprise integration testing (Kafka/IBM MQ)
Scripting skills (Python and/or JavaScript)
Experience mentoring or leading automation engineers
Banking, financial services or regulated environment experience

Responsibilities

Build and maintain automation frameworks
Develop automated test solutions using Karate
Deliver API, integration, security and performance testing
Support automation strategy and best practices
Mentor team members and collaborate with delivery teams

Candidates without strong Karate, API automation, performance testing, security testing, or enterprise integration experience will not be considered.
