Digital Trainer Developer (EPR)
Job summary
This full-time substantive postwill be based within theDigital and Datadepartment. The post holder willbe responsible fordeveloping andmaintainingeLearning, digital materials,guidesand documents for theEPRProgrammethatisdeliveringan ElectronicPatientRecord(EPR) system in collaboration withNervecentre.
This role will require tasks such as creating interactive eLearning, video creation/editing,podcasts,screencasts, animations,onscreen step by step guidesetc. for the various modules as they are developed, or updated, withintheEPR Programme along with any other training materials, SharePoint and Learning Management System (LMS).In addition, you may be called upon tofacilitateor train and lead onsite sessions, online forums and Teams-based meetings supporting any training.
ThepostholderwillbeworkingwiththewiderDigitaland Datateamandothersincludingclinicians,technologistsand operational colleagues across various projects, toassistin the delivery of Technology Enhanced Learning (TEL) solutions to enable a blended learning approach to courses.
Main duties of the job

These will both aid the implementation and support ongoing usage of clinical and business systems. To work closely with theEPR Training Leadin this area to ensure comprehensive 'change' plans are developed which support staff who have new, orsubstantially changed, roles resulting from the introduction ofnewlydigitisedprocesses and methods of fulfilling their roles.

Person Specification
Training & Qualifications
- Good standard of Education o Diploma level qualification in Multimedia related studies, IT or Audio Visual, or equivalent experience.
- oIT Qualification to ECDL certificate level or equivalent gained through training and equivalent experience
- Specialist knowledge and training in virtual learning environments.
Experience
- Teaching and training experience
- Experience of multimedia software and packages
- Experience of educational technologies
- High level of computer literacy with extensive use of Microsoft packages
- Evidence of experience in an IT education environment
- An in-depth working knowledge of eLearning, EPR system training and training design
- ooAble to extract relevant information from complex unfamiliar information
- oTraining in a highly technical field.
- oTeaching and training experience, particularly in an NHS environment
- oTeaching and training in a project scenario

- oGood interpersonal & facilitation skills
- oGood verbal and written communication skills
- oConfident and able to communicate with people at all levels
