Do you enjoy working collaboratively with clients and colleagues to build solutions that make a real impact Join our Platforms & Applications team within the Digital, Data & Technology Department (DDaT) and help shape the future of technology at the University of Bath.As a Power Platform Developer, you’ll work collaboratively with colleagues, stakeholders and suppliers to develop, configure, support and maintain a wide range of applications, services and integrations. You’ll be part of a dynamic team driving innovation and delivering high-quality digital services that support students, staff and the University.About you- Taking ownership of your work and delivering high standards of service and support.- Applying sound judgement and technical knowledge to solve problems, handle incidents and improve system performance.- Supporting change initiatives and contributing to a culture of innovation.- Managing your time effectively to meet deadlines and deliver results.- Applying IT Project Management methods, particularly Agile and DevOps, to help deliver solutions efficiently and collaboratively.- Solid understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) principles, including change management and incident handling.- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues quickly and effectively.- Strong experience in developing and configuring solutions using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse).- Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platforms, such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 or Salesforce.- Proven ability to apply IT Project Management methods, particularly Agile and DevOps, to deliver technology solutions effectively.- Strong commitment to quality, security, and reliability in all development and configuration work.- Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, stakeholders, and suppliers to achieve shared goals.- Skilled in time management and prioritisation, ensuring deadlines and service standards are consistently met.- A proactive mindset with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.Further information This role is offered on a full time (36.5 hours per week), permanent basis.For an informal discussion about the role, please contact Steven Wyatt, Principal Developer (Power Platforms); however, please ensure that you submit your application through the university's website.We consider ourselves to be a university where difference is celebrated, respected and encouraged.
