Project Manager
Role Overview: Unizen is looking for an organised and proactive Project Manager to coordinate client technology projects involving multiple applications, suppliers and stakeholders.
The role will focus on maintaining project plans, tracking delivery, managing risks and dependencies, producing clear reports, and ensuring stakeholders remain informed.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate multiple application implementation and configuration workstreams.
- Maintain project plans, milestones, actions, deadlines and dependencies.
- Communicate with clients, application owners, suppliers and internal teams.
- Produce and maintain project documentation, including PIDs, RAID logs, risk registers, action logs, RAG reports and executive updates.
- Organise and facilitate project meetings, recording actions, decisions and owners.
- Monitor progress and proactively escalate risks, delays, blockers and gaps.
- Track testing, training, acceptance criteria, go-live readiness and handover activities.
- Provide regular progress reports to Unizen management and client stakeholders.
- Ensure project documentation is accurate, current and appropriately controlled.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Experience coordinating or managing projects with multiple workstreams.
- Strong planning, organisation and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience maintaining project plans, risks, issues, actions and dependencies.
- Clear written and verbal communication.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and SharePoint.
- Experience with Microsoft Project or an equivalent planning tool.
- PRINCE2 or an equivalent project management qualification.
Desirable Experience
- Experience within IT services, managed services or cyber security.
- Experience coordinating application implementations and third-party suppliers.
- Experience working within healthcare or another regulated environment.
- Familiarity with information security and data protection requirements.
The role is hybrid, with three days per week based at Unizen’s London office. Occasional attendance at client sites may be required.
