HubSpot Specialist
NO AGENCIES PLEASE, we have our preferred agency on hand.
We have a new opening for a HubSpot Specialist to join our growing team based out of Bury St Edmunds. The career path on offer is, literally, unmatched!
This role is remote, with occasional travel to our office in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk (once per quarter). You must be based in the UK.
Note, candidates in the East of England will hold a strong advantage in applying for this role.
About Us
We're a Diamond Tier HubSpot Solutions Partner, with a mission to make HubSpot effortless for SMEs. We are driven by long-term relationships with our clients, not just churning through countless onboardings.
We work with businesses across the UK and Europe, with a few clients in North America too. Our services are varied, but all with a focus on making HubSpot effortless.
About the Role
If you love building awesome things on HubSpot and understanding why businesses need them — not just how to build them — this is the role for you.
This is a new permanent role joining our team of 7, sitting across multiple client accounts and project types. You'll be working alongside our existing HubSpot Consultants and Specialists on a mix of onboardings, implementations, retainers, and audits.
You'll play a hands-on role in client delivery from day one. We're a collaborative team, from MD through to our Marketing Executives, so you'll get exposure to a wide variety of work across our client base.
We're ideally looking for someone who has experience working in-house at a business that uses HubSpot (or a similar platform). We value people who understand the business context behind the build — someone who's been the end user, challenged stakeholders when things didn't make sense, and knows what good looks like from the inside.
That said, if you've got HubSpot Partner agency experience with that same mindset, we'd love to hear from you too.
This isn't a "service desk" role. We want someone who can look at a client's setup and confidently say "this isn't right, here's what you should do instead."
Responsibilities
- Working with our HubSpot Consultants to deliver projects and Managed Service Retainers at an exceptional level of quality.
- Working across multiple client projects at any one time, delivering HubSpot solutions end to end.
- A wide variety of HubSpot work: building emails, automation, workflows, reports, dashboards, lifecycle stage setups, lead scoring, and more.
- Liaising directly with clients — understanding their needs, managing expectations, and keeping them informed.
- Proactively identifying improvements in client portals rather than waiting to be told.
- Contributing fresh ideas for how we deliver work and improve our processes as a team.
- Becoming a trusted go-to for a number of key accounts, building your skillset as a problem solver and HubSpot expert.
- 3-4 years of experience using HubSpot or a similar CRM / marketing automation platform (e.g. Salesforce, Dynamics, Attio, ActiveCampaign, Marketo). HubSpot-specific experience is ideal, but if you're sharp and you've used something similar, you'll pick it up fast.
- A logical mindset with a knack for solving problems and thinking about the why, not just the how.
- Confidence to challenge clients constructively — you're not afraid to push back when something doesn't make sense.
- High standards of written and verbal communication.
- Experience working in-house at a business (not just in an agency) is a strong plus — we value that real-world understanding of how teams actually use these tools.
- Patience, level-headedness, and a willingness to roll up your sleeves when a project throws you a curveball.
- Experience using project management tools (Teamwork.com, ClickUp, Asana, Monday.com, etc.) is a bonus.
- Proficiency with Google Workspace / Microsoft Office is essential.
- If you're handy with Excel / Google Sheets, that's a big plus.
- Willingness to keep learning — we'll fund HubSpot Academy courses and give you time to complete them.
- £30,000 – £38,000 (dependent on experience)
- 25 days holiday (+ Bank Holidays), plus 1 extra day per year of service up to 30 days (+ Bank Holidays).
- 5% pension match.
- Flexible start/finish times (core hours 10am – 4pm).
- Enhanced maternity and paternity benefits, after 1 year of service.
- Private Healthcare, after a successful probation.
- 4 weeks paid sabbatical after 5 years of service.
- Sunny Fridays — finish early every Friday over the summer.
- 1⁄2 day per week dedicated to learning and development.
- 1 paid volunteering day per year.
- Carbon emissions offset through Ecologi.
