We are looking for an early-career (1-3 yrs' exp) Software Engineer with proven understanding of agentic workflows, ideally in a professional investment / trading environment.

You will be joining the London office a global hedge fund which specialises in Equities investing strategies.

Embedding with investment teams as a forward deployed engineer, you will learn how their investment process functions, and then build LLM-driven agents to automate their workflows and help them scale up their investment strategy.

You will be mentored by an experienced central team who will guide you in understanding internal Data & AI systems, as well as the nuances of Equity Long/Short hedge fund investing.

This will suit someone who likes building things, and can demonstrate that they get stuff done in fast-paced environments. We are open to talking to people from tech startups, crypto trading, etc if you have the right skillset and intellectual horsepower.

About you

• CompSci degree or similar from top-tier university.
• Clear understanding of collaborative software development principles - building, documenting and maintaining libraries; version control; architectures; etc.
• Understanding of emerging best practices in AI - Model Context Protocol, workflow tools such as LangChain, etc.
• Super intelligent, quick thinking, problem solver.
• Great communication skills.
