IT 2nd Line Support Engineer (ITSM / Microsoft / Networks / ITIL / PowerShell)

My client who are an institution in the Global Architectural Design consulting sector require an articulate and technical proficient 2nd Line IT Support Engineer to join their central London office as part of their global Support team (Manchester, London & Toronto).

As a juggernaut in Architectural Design leading the industry for over 100 years they boast some of the most envious and coveted offices in London.

This role has a hybrid working pattern where you will work from the Central London office 3 days per week (flexible days) and 2 days from home.

As the successful applicant you will have held a 2nd Line IT Support Engineer role currently/previously for at least 1 year and have technical experience with:

  • Microsoft Operating Systems and MS Teams.
  • Active Directory and Azure Active Directory (Entra ID).
  • Networks across LAN, WAN, WIFI, DNS, DHCP, VPN.
  • PowerShell.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Acting as the primary escalation point for in-house 1st Line team.
  • Handling and resolving incidents and logged requests through the in-house IT Service Management platform (ITSM).
  • Networking monitoring.
  • Assisting 3rd Line IT Support Engineers.
  • Maintaining user security across devices and user accounts.
