Application Consultant – DevOps – Senior VMware Engineer:
For one of our globally leading tech clients we are urgently looking for an experienced Application Consultant – DevOps – Senior VMware Engineer for a long contract based in London, UK
Its paying well and my client can interview asap!
Required Skills
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in VMware infrastructure design and administration
- Expertise in VMware vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, and associated tools
- Strong knowledge of virtual networking, SAN/NAS storage, and backup solutions
- Experience with automation tools (PowerCLI, Ansible) – added advantage
- Familiarity with hybrid cloud platforms (AWS / Azure)
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- VMware certifications (VCP / VCAP) highly desirable
Other Mandatory Requirement: Minimum 5 years of continuous UK residency
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience with VMware NSX and VMware Horizon
- Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Scripting abilities for automation & orchestration
