ServiceNow Developer
We are seeking a skilled and forward-thinking ServiceNow professional to join our client's digital services team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, configuring, and optimizing the ServiceNow platform to support enterprise-wide process automation, service delivery, and digital transformation initiatives.

Summary of Responsibilities
- ServiceNow Development: Design, build, and maintain modules, configurations, and custom scripts.
- Process Optimization: Enhance ITSM processes (Incident, Request, Problem, Change) using best practices.
- User Experience: Improve self-service capabilities through portals and virtual assistants.
- Integrations: Develop and manage connections with third-party systems via APIs and integration tools.
- CMDB & Discovery: Configure asset discovery tools and maintain accurate configuration data.
- Automation: Streamline workflows using Flow Designer, Orchestration, and scripting.
- Performance & Support: Troubleshoot issues, optimize system performance, and ensure platform stability.
- Testing & Upgrades: Lead testing (manual/automated), UAT, and manage upgrades and patches.
- Service Catalog: Maintain catalog items, workflows, and approval processes.
- Security & Access Control: Implement and enforce RBAC and compliance controls.
- Reporting & Analytics: Create dashboards and reports to provide insights and track performance.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
- Documentation: Maintain clear records of system configurations and updates.
What We’re Looking For
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline—or equivalent experience in an enterprise IT environment.
- 5+ years of experience designing, building, and maintaining ServiceNow solutions.
- Proficiency in IT Service Management (ITSM), discovery tooling, and system integration.
- Experience working with employee-facing interfaces and centralized service portals.
- Solid background in JavaScript, Flow Designer, and advanced scripting within the ServiceNow platform.
- Practical knowledge of CMDB structures and automated discovery tools.
- Strong grasp of ServiceNow's data model, access control logic, and platform architecture.
- Relevant certifications such as ServiceNow System Administrator or Application Developer are advantageous.
- Familiarity with Agile delivery, ITIL principles, and CI/CD practices.
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to advanced ServiceNow capabilities such as Virtual Agent, AI-driven insights, or mobile experience development. - Preferred
- Experience managing upgrades, patch cycles, and multiple ServiceNow instances. - Preferred
- Understanding of testing automation within the platform using tools such as the Automated Test Framework (ATF). - Preferred
