Service Coordinator – Immediate Start (Temp to Perm)

Location: Central London (EC1 area)

Salary: £27,000 per annum

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm (37.5 hours per week)

Are you a proactive multitasker with a flair for customer service and operational coordination? We're working with a growing organisation in Central London who are seeking a Service Coordinator to join their fast-paced support team. This position starts on a temporary basis, with the potential to go permanent for the right person.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage service requests from start to finish, ensuring timely resolution in line with internal SLAs.
  • Act as the go-to liaison between internal departments, engineers, and clients.
  • Log and track service tickets, monitor response times, and escalate when necessary.
  • Coordinate third-party contractors and monitor their performance against agreed timelines.
  • Prepare client quotes for labour and parts, updating systems and ensuring accuracy.
  • Support field engineers with scheduling and logistics when required.
  • Provide regular updates to clients and colleagues on job status and outstanding actions.
  • Maintain clear records and client documentation within internal systems.
  • Assist in reporting and analysis on support trends, delays, and escalations.
  • Support general operations and admin functions as part of a close-knit support team.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience in a busy customer service or helpdesk administration role.
  • Strong coordination skills with a background in service or ticket management.
  • Excellent communication abilities—both written and verbal.
  • Confident working with MS Excel, Word, and ideally familiar with service management platforms.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise workloads under pressure.
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
  • A strong understanding of service SLAs and the importance of client satisfaction.
  • A tech-savvy mindset with interest in service delivery or IT operations is a bonus.
