Job Title: Senior End User Engineer Salary: £45k Location: Belfast Contract: Permanent, full-time Work Pattern: Monday-Friday, standard operational hours, hybrid working arrangements (1 or 2 days from office) Join one of the UK's largest outsourcing and managed services companies. Within the role, you will be supporting a Windows estate of around 100,000 devices. What's in it for you? You'll be responsible for managing around 100,000 Windows devices using technologies like Intune, SCCM and Altiris, with a good mix of project work and day-to-day technical support. Benefits: Up to 4 days from home Great salary package 23 days annual leave rising to 27 (with option to buy extra leave) Clear opportunities to progress Key Responsibilities: Manage and maintain enterprise endpoint management platforms, ensuring Windows devices remain secure, compliant and up to date. Oversee the full Windows device life-cycle, including device builds, software deployment, patch management, upgrades and decommissioning. Troubleshoot and resolve complex endpoint issues, acting as an escalation point for technical incidents. Support infrastructure projects and platform improvements, including system upgrades, automation initiatives and service enhancements. Produce and maintain technical documentation while working closely with wider IT teams to deliver reliable and efficient endpoint services. Essential: Previous experience in an Endpoint Management or End User Computing (EUC) role within a large, complex IT environment. Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune, SCCM (Configuration Manager) and/or Altiris. Solid understanding of Windows endpoint management, including device provisioning, configuration, patching, upgrades and life-cycle management. Experience deploying software, managing endpoint security and maintaining patch compliance across enterprise environments. Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills. Good understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, VLANs, firewalls, proxies and subnets. Why choose VANRATH?
