About the role

We are seeking a highly capable and confident Product Owner to take full ownership of two critical products within a global digital transformation: Salesforce (SFDC) and the Service Request Portal (SRP). You’ll be the strategic lead for Salesforce, while also applying core product ownership practices to the ongoing development and optimisation of the Service Request Portal. The role requires strong leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and hands-on experience managing Salesforce as a product.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Salesforce (70% focus)
  • Play a key role in the business transformation journey, enhancing sales performance forecasting and reporting across multiple divisions.
  • Collaborate with a consulting team during the implementation phase and transition to a smaller agile delivery team post-rollout.
  • Own Salesforce as a product, define the roadmap, prioritise the backlog, and serve as the go-to lead for both business and technology stakeholders.
  • Bring strong experience in owning Salesforce Sales Cloud.
  1. Service Request Portal (30% focus)
  • Manage an in-house built quoting and service tool already live within one division.
  • Collaborate with a distributed team (core development in India, design and business analysis in the UK).
  • Apply best-practice product ownership, manage the backlog, shape the roadmap, and bridge the gap between business and tech teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and manage product backlogs for Salesforce and the Service Request Portal.
  • Lead product vision, strategy, and roadmaps in alignment with business priorities.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, engineering, and design teams to deliver high-impact features.
  • Drive Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives).
  • Define, track, and report product success metrics.
  • Be the internal champion and subject matter expert for Salesforce usage across the organization.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Proven experience owning Salesforce as a product, ideally within large, complex organisations or global rollouts.
  • Deep understanding of Salesforce capabilities (e.g. Sales Cloud, CPQ, dashboards/reporting).
  • Strong Agile product ownership skills: backlog management, stakeholder alignment, user story writing, prioritisation.
  • Experience working with distributed development teams.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, and Agile delivery practices.
