We’re partnering exclusively with a well-established, London Stock Exchange Main Market-listed company headquartered in Vauxhall, with offices across Europe, to appoint a technically capable and commercially astute Head of IT.
  
This is a rare opportunity to lead digital strategy across infrastructure, applications, and cybersecurity, while remaining hands-on and closely involved in delivery. You’ll oversee a small, high-performing IT team and play a pivotal role in shaping the technology roadmap for a pan-European business.
  
You’ll lead the successful adoption of a new ERP platform across multiple European offices, including Germany and France. This includes roadmap prioritisation, post-implementation support, and ensuring long-term value through effective change management and stakeholder engagement.
  
What you bring

We’re seeking a strategic IT leader who combines technical expertise with strong business acumen. You’ll be comfortable operating across board-level conversations and hands-on delivery.
  
Core requirements

• Degree-level qualification or equivalent experience
• Proven leadership of IT functions, including strategy, team development, and budget ownership
• Track record of delivering complex, multi-country technology programmes
• Strong understanding of cloud adoption, cybersecurity, and ITIL frameworks
• Ability to translate technical concepts into business outcomes
• Solid grasp of infrastructure, applications, and enterprise systems
• Commercial mindset with sound financial awareness
• Familiarity with enterprise architecture (TOGAF desirable) and systems integration
• Hands-on experience with some of: Microsoft Power Platform, Azure, SQL Server, or Python

Please note that this is primarily an office-based role, with 4 days per week spent in modern Vauxhall offices and 1 day working from home.
