We are hiring a brand and social marketer to help define and amplify Via’s voice. This role can suit an ambitious early-career marketer or a more experienced founding hire, depending on background and appetite for ownership.
The Role
This is not a scheduling or posting role. It is a voice, narrative, and engagement role.
You will help shape how Via shows up in the world, explain why hiring is broken, and build real audience trust across social platforms. You will work closely with the founder and product team and see the impact of your work quickly.
What You’ll Own
- Create written and visual content for LinkedIn, X, Instagram, and TikTok
- Turn product insights and founder thinking into compelling social stories
- Shape and evolve Via’s brand narrative and tone of voice
- Build outbound social channels that support inbound growth
- Drive real engagement and community, not vanity metrics
- Set or contribute to content strategy and editorial planning
- Monitor performance and report on engagement, growth, and conversion
- Identify buying signals and experiment with turning attention into demand
- Test ideas rigorously and iterate based on data and feedback
- Collaborate with product and founder to align story with execution
Who We’re Looking For
- Writes with clarity, confidence, and point of view
- Understands social media as conversation first, not broadcast
- Thinks in audience, not campaigns
- Is comfortable with ambiguity and fast iteration
- Wants to shape a voice, not just execute tasks
What You Need
- Strong writing and communication skills
- Experience with social or content, through a role, internship, side project, or personal channels
- Comfort using social platforms and basic analytics
- A testing mindset with ideas supported by data
- Curiosity about recruitment, SaaS, and marketplace businesses
Nice to Have
- Experience building an audience on any platform
- Short-form video editing skills
- Familiarity with content planning and calendars
- Experience working with founders or early-stage teams
- Knowledge of recruitment or HR technology
