Head of Procurement – Global SaaS Business
Location: Flexible / Hybrid, UK
Salary: £90,000 – £120,000 (depending on experience)
We’re partnering with a rapidly growing global SaaS business that empowers over 100,000 companies across 150+ countries. With a strong international presence and ambitious growth plans, they are now looking for a Head of Procurement to build and lead their global procurement function from the ground up.
The Role
Reporting to the Global Controller (VP), you’ll define and execute a scalable, end-to-end procurement strategy. You’ll work closely with teams across finance, legal, IT, marketing, and operations to optimise vendor relationships, drive cost efficiencies, and ensure compliant, ethical sourcing practices.
Key responsibilities include:
- Design, implement, and maintain global procurement policies, workflows, and supplier management frameworks
- Lead sourcing, negotiation, and selection of vendors across SaaS, cloud, advertising, and indirect spend
- Review and negotiate vendor contracts to ensure compliance, risk mitigation, and favourable commercial terms
- Analyse company spend to identify cost-saving opportunities and drive efficiencies
- Develop procurement KPIs and reporting on savings, spend analytics, and supplier performance
- Act as a strategic partner to business leaders on procurement-related decisions and budget planning
- Build and mentor a high-performing procurement team
About You
- 7+ years of procurement experience in global, multi-national organisations, with a focus on SaaS, cloud, advertising, and indirect spend
- 3+ years in a leadership role, managing teams across geographies
- Proven track record negotiating complex contracts and managing full procurement lifecycles
- Hands-on experience with procure-to-pay (P2P) workflows and global procurement policies
- Proficient in procurement and spend management software (Coupa, NetSuite preferred)
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build partnerships
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
