Full Stack Developer

Location: Hybrid – 1 day per week in Cwmbran

Salary: £37,000 to £46,000

An established public sector organisation is looking for a Full Stack Developer to join their in-house software engineering team. You’ll help deliver modern, scalable applications that support vital operational services across the organisation. The role offers a strong work–life balance, clear progression, and the chance to work with a modern Microsoft tech stack.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop and maintain web applications and APIs using Microsoft technologies
• Work across the full SDLC in an Agile environment
• Translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure systems are robust, secure and efficient
• Support and enhance existing systems while contributing to new development projects

Key Requirements:

• Strong experience with C# , .NET 8+ , MVC , Web API , and SQL Server
• Front-end skills in JavaScript / jQuery , HTML5 , CSS , and Bootstrap
• Solid understanding of OOP and SOLID principles
• Experience with Visual Studio , IIS , and Azure DevOps
• Familiarity with OAuth 2.0 , OpenID Connect , and RESTful APIs
• Experience mentoring or supporting junior developers
• Desirable: exposure to FHIR , HL7 , or healthcare data standards
