IT Site Lead – Birmingham

VIQU has partnered with a global legal organisation to recruit an IT Site Lead to provide high-level, white-glove support for their Birmingham office. This is an excellent opportunity to join a prestigious, international firm in a hands-on, business-facing role where you'll take ownership of local IT operations, deliver an exceptional user experience, and support a complex enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver premium second-line IT support and incident management for users in the Birmingham office

• Act as the primary onsite IT contact, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and outstanding customer service

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware and software issues both remotely and in person

• Install, upgrade, and maintain devices including laptops, desktops, printers, and mobile devices

• Support system rollouts, upgrades, and regional IT projects

• Ensure compliance with IT security standards and asset management processes

• Provide AV and meeting support as required

• Collaborate with third-line and global IT teams to drive continuous improvement

• Contribute to the IT knowledge base and assist with documentation of support procedures

• Participate in on-call duties and occasional weekend work for upgrades or maintenance

Key Requirements:

• 5–6 years' experience in a senior desktop support, EUC, or IT site lead role within legal, finance, or professional services environments

• Strong technical knowledge of Windows 11, Intune, M365, and iOS device management

• Experience in a Law firm

• Excellent stakeholder management skills with the confidence to push back diplomatically when needed

• ITIL Foundation accreditation (preferred) and familiarity with incident management tools

• A proactive mindset, high attention to detail, and commitment to delivering first-class service
